Overview

We have a Lead Continuous Integration Engineer opportunity available for our mission critical customer in Washington, DC.

 

Qualified candidates must possess a Top Secret clearance.

 

Lead Continuous Integration Engineer will be responsible for analysis of requirements and project objectives, working with Scrum Master and team members to solidify and work team stories.  He/ she will mentor other team members on proper development style and practices, will work with team members to ensure stories are accepted by product owners and stakeholders.

 

Specifically, the Lead Software Engineer will: 

  • Design, develop, enhance, debug and implement software as part of several key initiatives in support of the FBI.
  • Address problems related to systems integration and compatibility with multiple platforms, providing technical leadership and supervision of others during the project.
  • Design and develop Java software applications.
  • Be able to work independently on tasks and initiatives if requested. 
  • Work on complex tasks requiring extensive problem solving abilities.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities

The Lead Software Engineer will:

  • Be well versed in full lifecycle development with a strong understanding of UI/UX front end development leveraging tools such as AngularJS and Bootstrap.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of ORM tools and persistence of large transactional data.
  • Possess the ability to understand a large monolithic program, and assist with it continuous evolution to a microservices design pattern.
  • Possess full understanding of deployed products into a production environment and support of DevOps culture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienc
  • 5+ years of experience with software configuration management and DevOpsExtensive experience triaging and debugging production issuesDemonstrated experience in a Test Driven Development and automation environments
  • demtrated experience working in various testing frameworks and tools
  • xperience mentoring team members
  • Experience with source code management version control systems (Git, TFS)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment using tools such as: Xebia Labs, Jenkins, Chef, or equivalent
  • Experience with build and scripting tools such as ANT / NAnt, Maven, MSBuild, Perl, VBScript, Windows batch files and UNIX shell scripting
  • Ansible scripting
  • Linux shell scripting
  • Python scripting
  • SOLR
  • SQL
  • Android mobile programming
  • Advanced Spring, Spring MVC, Spring ORM, etc. 

Qualified candidates must possess a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Degree:  A bachelor ’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline.

 

Clearance Requirement: This position requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
