Responsibilities

 

Instruct and facilitate adult learning through modern training techniques and methodologies and assist in developing Government-owned Cyberspace Operations (CO) curriculum. Instructors provide classroom instruction, provide lab experience, and evaluate students on the knowledge required to meet the certification standards for their career path. The instructor is responsible for creation of course content, training materials and documentation. The instructor monitors student performance on practical exercises and provides lectures and/or feedback to students to correct misunderstandings. Virtualization technology is employed heavily to simulate real-world scenarios that create an immersive cyber-environment for students.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Two years work experience in the specified topic area (Windows Operation systems), with representative experience in the following aspects: General Windows concepts and terms
    • Windows Operating Systems (e.g., XP, Vista, 2000, 7)
    • Windows Kernel specifics
    • File systems
    • Boot process
    • Undocumented  interfaces
    • Memory management
    • Internal architecture
  • Two (2) years’ experience, within the last three (3) years in preparing and presenting skills-based instruction to adults in the specified topic area to include facilitating student participation through role playing or operational simulations.
  • Formal, documented training in a web-based or distance learning teaching technologies, to include on lne forums and multimedia presentations (e.g., Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal).
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or a directly related field. In lieu of an Associate Degree, a minimum of four years of applied, practical work experience, within the last six years, in the specified topic area (Windows Operating System)

 

Location: Hanover, MD

 

Clearance:  Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
