Overview

Job Description:
The Flight Operations Coordinator will be a critical part of our Team.  He/she must be a quick learner and someone who thrives in collaborative Team and fast paced environment.  Our future Flight Operations Coordinator must have a positive attitude and must enjoy having fun at work.   Our fleet consists of 23 deployed aircraft operating throughout the US and abroad.  Our Coordinators report directly to an operations manager who will provide guidance and direction on all aircraft requirements for movement and reporting/tracking expectations.  Our Flight Operations Coordinators must be able to work in shifts and have flexibility in changing shifts when required.

Responsibilities

Job Duties include:

  • Flight follow all flights including international repositions. Provide flight updates to the team and work with our providers and internal tracking software to provide situational awareness for managers
  • Obtain international service quotes from multiple International Flight Service Providers and provide for cost effectiveness
  • Help setup an international flight with paperwork and approvals from International Flight Service Provider
  • Maintain all the fuel cards and distribute as necessary
  • Data input into a flight scheduling software, OUT/OFF/ON/IN, fuel burn, track crew duty and flight times, provide backup for maintenance tracking (flight hours to inspection, etc.)
  • Collect daily mission reports and enter data into our master data tracker
  • Assist managers, pilots and other Team members in obtaining the most cost effective options for fuel and FBO stops throughout the world. The Flight Operations Coordinator will be required to coordinate and negotiate with FBOs
  • Track aircraft pilot and maintenance schedules to ensure operations and project managers have the most up to date information on the resources they require

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication as well as analytical and organizational skills
  • Must have superior proficiency with Microsoft Word and excel
  • Must have knowledge of how aviation weather, NOTAMS, etc. affect flight operations. Should be familiar with FAA Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
  • Ability to work various hours

Location: N. Andover, MA

 

Degree: An Associates Degree in Aviation Management, Air Transportation, or equivalent experience

 

Clearance: Must be clearable
