Overview

Job Description:

The Aviation Maintenance Supervisor (Single Engine Aircraft) will be a critical part of our Team.  He/she must be a quick learner and someone who thrives in collaborative Team and fast paced environment.  Our future Aviation Maintenance Supervisor must have a positive attitude and must enjoy having fun at work.   The primary focus for this position is to oversee and support the maintenance of our Cessna fleet consisting of 10 Cessna aircraft operating throughout the US and nearby countries.  Our future Aviation Maintenance Supervisor will provide maintenance direction for aircraft maintenance requirements and projects under the guidance of the Director of Maintenance.  The Aviation Maintenance Supervisor must be able to work in shifts and have flexibility in changing shifts when required. Travel to deployed site locations or as needed for tasks such as vendor management and pre-buy inspections will be required.  The Aviation Maintenance Manager reports directly to Director of Maintenance.

Responsibilities

Job Duties include:

  • Tracks all maintenance actions and documentation,
  • Oversees and ensures compliance with ADs and Service bulletins on General Aviation aircraft
  • Manages maintenance projects with technicians and plans scheduled maintenance events with coordination of DOM
  • Maintains parts inventory for GA aircraft to include requesting, issuing and purchasing and restocking when needed
  • Maintains an organized work schedule with the ability to change priorities as needed with short notice Additionally manages the schedule of any and all direct reports
  • Off sets Maintenance Supervisor(s) work schedule to provide full weekly coverage
  • Must be able to travel to different work locations if required to supervised or execute maintenance projects

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Must be a US citizen and hold a valid U.S. passport and U.S. driver’s License
  • 10+ Years in Aircraft maintenance
  • A&P Mechanic certificate
  • Inspection Authorization required
  • Experience with Lycoming and Continental engines
  • Experience with conducting conformity inspections
