Responsibilities

  • The Mid-level Cryptographic Software Evaluator shall be responsible for perfonning independent software verification and validation.
  • This shall involve line-by-line software source code review and lor tool based source code evaluation.
  • The evaluator shall be responsible for matching source code to specifications and design
    documentation, and generating appropriate eValuation reports.
  • The Mid-level Cryptographic Software Evaluator may also be responsible mentoring more junior software evaluators.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

 

  • Minimum of 3 years software development/evaluation experience to include design, coding, and testing.

  • The individual shall have experience in multiple programming languages to include C/C++, and RISC Assembly.

  • Shall have experience in basic cryptography, computer architecture, technical writing, and software quality assurance.

  • A Mid·level Cryptographic Software Evaluator shall also have experience in the generation of government compliant documentation.

  • High level of C programming experience.

  • Linux Kernel programming experience.

  • Familiarity with MACsec and EAP concepts and protocols and their implementation in code.

  • Familiarity with coding cryptographic algorithms​.

 

Degree:

  • A bachelor ’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.

 

Clearance: Positions require a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
