Overview

KEYW’s Flight Landata Division develops and deploys remote sensing products and services.  Our core product development line, the Aeroptic System (www.aeroptic.com) provides wide-area, high-resolution maps to a variety of customers.  It is complimented by our long legacy of deployed aircraft services, which employ the Aeroptic system and other instruments to obtain remote sensing data in customer locations around the world.  The primary attribute for any position at Flight Landata is a dedication to problem-solving – whether you are manning an office in Massachusetts, or operating in an aircraft in Africa. Responsibilities

Description:

The Field Support Representative (FSR) is responsible for conducting day to day sensor system tracking and trouble shooting of KEYW deployed systems, deployment to field site locations for system startup and site support, and advanced training and instruction of KEYW and/or customer sensor systems such as, but not limited to; Electro Optical (EO), Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), etc.  The FSR will also be responsible for the test and evaluation of new sensor systems and for the specific development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures associated with the planning, implementation and execution of the systems.  The FSR is a critical liaison role between the FLD Engineering and operations departments.  FSRs must also remain physically and mentally willing and capable of rapidly deploying to remote and austere locations for up to 90 days at a time, and at the request of the company, assume the position of Site Supervisor.  FSRs are required to maintain a FAA Class III Flight Physical, immunizations (as required for deployment locations), and to complete all pre-deployment training such as but not limited to the on-line DoD training program.  The FSR reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Operate, troubleshoot and repair sensor and computer systems 
  • Ability to manage up to 20 users on wired and wireless private and/or government networks
  • Ability to keep computers and cryptography equipment functioning and up to date
  • Install, point and troubleshoot GPS systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Meet and maintain all requirements to operate as an airborne sensor operator for DoD sponsored projects
  • Obtain and maintain an FAA Class III Flight Physical
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise a team of up to 15 personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to provide training for class sizes of up to 15 personnel 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience in operating at a remote site location 
  • Maintain the ability to rapidly deploy overseas to remote environments
  • Meet all required medical and dental pre-requisites for deployment

Desired Skills:

  • Experience operating and maintaining remote sensing systems 
  • Experience with windows based GIS file formats and software such as GEO tiffs, DEMs, ortho-mosaics, shape files, etc. 
  • Overseas travel experience 
  • Military experience 
  • Electronics / Avionics technician experience 
  • Familiarity with technical photography 
  • Foreign Language

 

Location:  North Andover, MA

 

Degree: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

 

Clearance:  Secret Clearance Required
