    KeyW is looking for a Geospatial Storage Engineer to support our Geospatial Practice with a TS/SCI clearance




    The Geospatial Data Storage Engineer is focused on:

    • GEOINT data holdings and data services within an enterprise geospatial database.

    • Working with GEOINT SMEs, Geospatial Data Storage Engineer validates, identify and resolve discrepancies of the data and metadata.

    • Work in coordination with data loaders and support the Database Manager, System Administrators, and Database Administrators to ensure data accessibility and availability for users of the system.

    • Acquisition, maintenance, and dissemination of data in support GEOINT activities.

    • Ensuring that records/info management objectives are met.

    • Developing and interpreting policy, procedures and guidelines for implementing system wide data management across the enterprise system.

    • Ensures economy and efficiency in creation, use, maintenance and disposition of data.

    • Develop and provide training and guidance for the analysts.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must demonstrate experience in the following software but not limited to:
      • ArcGIS 9.x/10.x
      • ArcSDE
      • Metadata
      • ArcGIS Server
      • Image Server Extension
      • Geoprocessing Script Development (VBA, Python, Model Builder, .Net Addin)
    • Must have 3+ years of experience working with geodatabases, large flat file vector data, and raster (images, grids, matrix) data in an enterprise/personal geospatial database structure.
    • Must have hands on experience managing QA/QC of geospatial databases and datasets.
    • Must have experience working with metadata and creating metadata templates.
    • B.S. degree in Geography/GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline and at least 5 years of experience.  An ideal candidate may substitute a degree with 4 years of working experience mentioned in the job description.
