  • Responsibilities

    KeyW has a requirement for Information Security Support Officers to provide support to the USG to ensure industrial information systems are in compliance with current industrial security regulations and governing policies an to ensure that the systems have the proper safeguards to protect classified data. The ISSO will inspect information systems at contractor sites nationwide and assist with certification and accreditation.  This position will use industrial security policy guidance to include DCID 6/3 and ICD 503.


    • 3 - 5 years’ experience (without a Bachelor’s Degree) supporting the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process and the review and development of security procedures, and policies for industrial security information systems. (Only 2 years of experience are required with Bachelor’s Degree or with a security certification (CISSP, CISA, CISM).)
    • 2 years’ experience with Windows, and a minimum one year experience with Linux
    • Familiarity with common security scanning tools (Nessus, WASSP, SECSCN, MBSA).
    • Knowledge of network architecture and LAN configuration
    • Familiarity with DCID 6/3 and ICD 503.
    • Familiarity with network architecture, operating systems, and configuration of local area networks.
    • Experience using the ADN/CWE environment and Microsoft Office
    • Familiarity with Sharepoint.
    • Ability to communicate on technical subjects using clear, concise, non-technical language to include strong written communications, ability to provide written feedback on documents, and ability to prepare briefings.
    • Ability to travel domestically (10% to 20% of the time).

    Clearance:  Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as a favorable completion of a polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing are done by the U.S. Government.
