    Responsibilities

    Individuals in this position will: Provision and monitor all physical storage (SAN/NAS) in the enterprise, provide AWS GovCloud storage and DevOps support and support a large on premises virtual environment (VMWare).  Must be able to work non-core hours when needed.

     

    Knowledge & Experience 

    • Block level storage replication
    • Strong understanding of iSCSI, NFS protocols
    • Fiber and IP-based networking solutions utilizing SAN/NAS 
    • VMWare storage requirements and performance tuning
    • AWS Cloud Experience
    • Strong scripting background
    • VMWare ESXi/vcenter 6 senior to mid administrative experience

    Qualifications

    • EMC/Netapp storage experience 
    • Other System administration skills desired to include Redhat, Windows, and Linux administration 
    • Networking setup and configuration 
    • AWS Certification(s)
    • VMWare Certification(s)
    • Strong diagnostic skills with performance related issues Personal Attributes
    • Good project management skills. 
    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. 
    • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. 
    • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. 
    • Strong customer service orientation. 
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
    • B.S. in Information Technology or 5-7+ years of relevant experience.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must have 5+ years of experience..
    • B.S. degree.  An ideal candidate may substitute a degree with 7 years of working experience mentioned in the job description.
