  • Overview

    Do you enjoy being a part of small teams that work closely with the customer? Does big data pique your interest? Our Prototype Development Support program is looking for candidates with a strong mission focus to do new development and rapid prototyping. Someone who can figure out smarter, better ways to discover new targets or support mission analysis. 


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Monitor critical operational networks and help improve overall system security
    • Assist in coordinating and executing improved monitoring and intrusion analysis across mission infrastructure in support of Cybersecurity Operations
    • Take over current infrastructure monitoring and intrusion analysis, as well as helping to shape and define future improvements to automated analysis and improve system security posture
    • Experience with analysts and collection tools such as:  Bro IDS, Nessus vulnerability scanner, Snort, tcpdump, and Splunk to perform continuous monitoring, intrusion analysis, and reporting
    • Work alongside other CSO Computer Network Defense analysts to expand each other's knowledge and hone their skills even more


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Technically related field.  The Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience as a systems analyst
    • Eight (8) to eighteen (18) years of experience as a systems analyst
    • Five (5) years of experience in systems analysis, engineering design, and communications applications on complex information systems, database management, the use of programming languages that support Sun Solaris, HP UNIX, Windows NT, Pascal or Delphi, Linux – Redhat, Windows XP, Databases, Sybase RDBMS, Oracle RDBMS, MS Access, Oracle Context, Oracle Forms, Powerbuilder, MS SQL Server, Indexed Sequential Access Method (ISAM), and knowledge of storage and retrieval methods


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in computer networking, computer network defense, network monitoring, and intrusion analysis
    • Experience in host-based computer defense/analysis
    • Experience with scripting in a Linux and/or Windows environment
    • Experience supporting Operations
