  • Overview

     

    Sensors Processing and Systems Development Division (SPSD) of the Survey and Exploration Systems Sector develops airborne and space ISR systems.  SPSD has an immediate need for a highly motivated and creative engineer to analyze, research, design, develop, test and integrate SIGINT applications on several existing SPSD hardware and software development projects.   Working with a multi-discipline team and using candidate’s knowledge of IC systems and their operating methodologies and architecture, the selected candidate will lead the systems development strategy for SIGINT applications.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Work on multiple division projects that are building next generation RF systems based upon the division innovative designs.
    • Interface directly to the technical lead.
    • Conduct trade-off studies, model performance, create ICDs and guide design, build, integration and test.

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    Required:

     

    • THIS POSITION REQUIRES A TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE.
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or a related engineering discipline.
    • 5-10 years’ experience with one or more SIGINT collection (front end) systems.
    • Need a science/R&D background.
    • Knowledge of software defined radios.
    • Experience designing embedded real-time system.
    • FPGA experience.
    • Excellent communications skills to work with fellow team members.

     

    Preferred:

     

    • MATLAB Signal Processing experience.
    • Digital design experience for SIGINT systems.
    • Coding experience for embedded controllers and digital signal processors.
    • Demonstrated expertise using Simulink or ModelSim.
    • AESA design and application.
