KeyW is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in our Hanover, MD Office. The AP Manager manages the accounts payable staff and supervises the full cycle of accounts payable activities, which includes month end accruals and GL reconciliations.






  • Supervise, lead and direct the work of a team of four AP Specialists and the entire AP process for the company.
  • Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers.
  • Analyze and verify outstanding invoices to ensure proper payment and adherence to any applicable requirements.
  • Ensure invoices are properly coded and matched to purchase orders where required.
  • Ensure proper signature authority policy is followed. Resolve common and complex AP errors or problems.
  • Ensure that all financial deadlines regarding accounts payable are met for month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closings.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and accounts payable reports.
  • Provide and review all accounts payable related support requests for internal SOX and external audit functions.
  • Responsible for full 1099 annual filing process.
  • Maintain vendor master files, W9’s and supplier registration forms for all vendor set-ups.
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
  • Assist company in continuous business improvement efforts, processes, and initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Develop, establish, monitor and measure processes and procedures to improve accounts payable efficiency.






  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of dedicated accounts payable experience.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience.
  • Recent experience with Deltek Costpoint 7.0 or higher.
  • Recent experience with Deltek Time and Expense 9.0 or higher.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to manage a team while completing multiple tasks within a high volume environment.




  • 10+ years total professional experience
  • Managing multiple locations experience.
  • Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audit and compliance experience.
  • Government contracting industry experience.
