Overview

KeyW is currently seeking a Training Specialist with a current Secret clearance located in Atlanta, GA area.

Responsibilities

The Training Specialist will be responsible for the assessment, design, development and delivery of training programs that support operational and corporate strategies, values and goals. The Specialist will complete post training follow-up to evaluate the success of the learning programs delivered by ensuring that learning objectives were successfully met and can be sustained.

Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop plans, conduct and administer programs that train employees and improve their skills and knowledge
  • Provide instructor led training as needed to support business needs, act as backup instructor for core training programs.
  • Assist in coordination of rollout of training programs, including train-the-trainer, learning management system (LMS), production of materials, tracking, and reporting.
  • Analyze content, audiences and learner environment to identify appropriate instructional strategies for assigned courses, curriculum, and projects.
  • Adhere to instructional design standards and adult learning principles that ensure consistent and high quality learning materials using techniques from the ADDIE model.
  • Development of E-learning materials to support training needs of off-site staff.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SME) to quickly assess training needs, determine effective delivery formats, and design/develop materials including self-study, instructor-led, e-learning, and others.
  • Assist with the development of tests that accurately measure participant comprehension and assist in the implementation of on-line testing.
  • Maintain/improve/modify existing course materials.
  • Coordinates projects and training activities to completion, including subject matter expert collaboration, agreement and approval.
  • Schedules and coordinates workflow including establishing priorities for training projects, vendors and internal customers.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training by developing and implementing evaluation tools.
  • Meets commitments, works independently, handles change, and stays focused under pressure.
  • Listens to others and values opinions that are different from their own, assists team members to meet goals.
  • Develop programs that groom lower-level employees for executive positions.
  • Create monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios.
  • Create interactive multimedia presentations.
  • Hold workshops and lectures.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Education:  B.S. Degree in Computer Science or other Engineering or Technical discipine is required

 

Clearance Requirement: This position requires a Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation.
