Overview

KeyW, a national security solutions provider for the Intelligence, Cyber and Counterterrorism Communities, is seeking a dynamic, mature and motivated self-starter to support corporate communications initiatives. This internship is a unique opportunity for a hands-on role supporting the Communications department of a 2,000+ person government contractor.

 

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing social media campaigns and posts
  • Writing blogs, newsletter articles, press releases and other corporate communications
  • Drafting presentations, web pages, product information sheets and other marketing collateral
  • Assisting with media pitches and interviews
  • Updating the corporate inter-and intranet

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should:

  • Have completed or be working toward a college degree in related field (Mass Communications, Public Relations or English)
  • Be computer literate (working knowledge of Microsoft office and social media channels)
  • Have effective oral and written communications skills
  • Have good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Be mature with a professional mindset and the ability to be discreet 
  • Be able to work 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday From mid-June through mid-August
