The KeyW Corporation (KeyW) seeks an experienced, motivated mid-level Contracts Administrator to join our contracts team. This individual will administer a portfolio of contracts in KeyW’s National Intelligence Sector (NIS). The Contract Administrator is instrumental to the entire operations team and will have responsibilities that include providing risk analysis and compliance guidance on a day-to-day basis to our internal stakeholders, as well as maintaining sound relationships with our external customers. Duties encompass full life-cycle contract management including proposal activities and contract award through contract closeout. The contract administrator is viewed as an integral part of our execution team and must be a collaborative team member. The contract administrator will participate in special projects as required.


  • Provide thorough review and negotiation of non-disclosure and teaming agreements on behalf of KeyW.
  • Collaborate within the contracts team, as well as cross-functionally with other departments, while having the ability to work independently as appropriate.  
  • Must have prior experience in the preparation, negotiation, and monitoring of federal contracts and proposals, but as important, have the aptitude to juggle competing priorities when needed.  
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and other bodies of law affecting government contracts highly preferred. 
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Ability to compose, write, edit, and proofread a variety of internal and external business correspondence, contracts, proposals, and management reports.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software, i.e. Word and Excel.
  • BA/BS in business or a related field and 3-6 years progressively responsible work experience administering federal contracts (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a BA/BS).
  • Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages, as well as throughout contract execution.
  • Analyze potential risks that contract terms and conditions may pose to the organization
  • TS/SCI Clearance desired, but not required. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.


The position is located in KeyW’s Herndon, VA office, with occasional travel within the DC Metro.
