Overview

  • Provides analysis and project support to assigned program workload.
  • Analysis includes reviewing scope and schedule performance.
  • Develops schedules that include project phasing, project milestones, and represent critical relationships between program tasks as required to plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activities.
  • Analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication and provide feedback on program performance.
  • Lead in the development of schedules (including resource loading) for identified WBS elements.
  • Ensure the schedule/program plan is executable and executing as planned.
  • Perform Critical Path Analysis and report results to Project Team.
  • Participates in program change request process. Reviews vendor change requests and advises Project Managers of any schedule impact of proposed design changes.
  • Brief project manager on risks that may affect project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting).
  • 3- 5 years of SAP configuration experience as a functional consultant.
  • Expert level understanding of Army logistics and financial sustainment systems to include relevant experience with GCSS-Army, GFEBS, or LMP.
  • Must have ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise with MS Excel, Power Point skills are necessary.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization structure.
  • Knowledge of Army policy and business acumen.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload.

Preferred Skills:

What follows is the requirements that were identified for the Master Scheduler.

  • Responsible for preparing and coordinating schedules with inputs from multiple areas, such as Information Assurance, Program Management, and the prime contractor.
  • Understand the work and time involved in planning each activity.
  • Ability to identify and express the critical path, upcoming activities, be aware of deadlines, run reports on upcoming tasks.
  • Strong experience developing and managing integrated master schedules (IMS).
