We are looking for experienced sensor operators who thrive in a Team environment. The sensor operator will work on and with many different sensor systems including our Aeroptic products. Our operators will primarily be required to operate and maintain sensor systems while in flight and on board our fleet of Beechcraft King Air 100, METRO SA-227, and Cessna aircraft. Additionally, our sensor operators may work with cutting edge post-processing techniques, hardware and software. The candidate must be willing to operate anywhere within the United States as well as overseas and in remote locations. This is an hourly non-exempt position and will be on an on-demand rotational basis providing a wide variety of international experience. The primary work schedule is a 90 day on and 90 day off rotation and our Headquarters Team works hard to accommodate our Team Members with the needs of our many projects.

Mechanic Duties Include:

  • Performing operation and maintenance of a wide variety of sensor systems
  • Conducting aerial sensor operations on a daily basis
  • Work with our HQ Team, customers and the flight crew to conduct aviation mission planning
  • Post-mission quality reviews and processing
  • Assignments to remote areas, under challenging living and working conditions
  • Additional duties as required, e.g. safety representative, site coordinator, etc.

Qualifications

Candidates Must Have:

  • In depth knowledge of optics, camera systems, computer hardware and electronics
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Office Suite
  • Troubleshooting knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
  • Aviation experience
  • US Citizenship
  • Experience working in close Teams
  • Positive Team attitude

We Prefer Candidates To Have:

  • 5+ years of aviation related sensor system experience
  • Computer background
  • International travel experience
