  • Responsibilities


    • As the lead sensor operator, participate in the development, integration and evaluation of synthetic aperture radar technology into existing naval aviation system such as the P-3, P-8, and MH-60R/S, with emphasis on the effective integration of the system into the avionics/sensors suite of current naval surveillance platforms.
    • Support the development of the CONOPs, ICD, Test and Eval plans, and product sustainment plans.
    • Develop operator manuals, training materials, and maintenance manuals and support the delivery of the system hardware, software and associated technical data package.
    • Participate in field trials and after action development tasks.





    • Desired candidate is a former navy or air force radar sensor operator, with experience in ASW, ASuW, and counter mine warfare.
    • Must be familiar with the on-board exploitation in the back of VPU assets.  Candidates could be a retired CPO with experience with the APS-137 or APS 153.
    • P-3 sensor operations; preparing training materials, performing instruction of navy aviation operators.
      Must be willing to deploy and have a current aviation medical certificate.
