Lead the development, test and deployment of synthetic aperture radar technology into existing naval aviation system such as the P-3, P-8, and MH-60R/S, with emphasis on the effective integration of the system into the avionics/sensors suite of current naval surveillance platforms. As the principal point of contact with the customer, develop the CONOPs, ICD, Test and Eval plans, and product sustainment plans; Direct the technical efforts of the Severn radar team, and deliver the system hardware, software and associated technical data package: Participate in field trials, and the after action development tasks. Manage the product through the life cycle.


BS in engineering, physics, math or computer science. Desired candidate is a former navy aviator or engineer, familiar with NAVAIR acquisition, flight test and air worthiness certification processes.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires a Secret.
